Currently, we are operating a table top company whose main customers are department stores, specialty stores, catalogues etc... all retail outlets traditionally offering dinnerware and giftware.
(Our site is open to the trade only, reason why I haven't listed it on AMP, but after all, some of you might have retail operations or be buyers and be interested in viewing it, so here it is:
Willing to increase our "hospitality" customer base (hotels and restaurants love our line when they "find" it), lately, my focus has been to start a special Hospitality branch and quickly realized that offering a non traditional type of product to that industry, we should look at a non traditional marketing strategy.
After a successful test market in a couple of areas, the "out of the box" idea to give the line to various "connectors" who have the confidance of their hospitality customers and do not sell them THIS type of product, paid off and seems to be the way to go. The indiiduals we did the test with were fine wines distributors, but I feel that other specialties might work just as well.
Therefore, I am looking for:
Individuals or companies already (well) connected to the hospitality industry, in their area, nationwide or even worldwide, and selling OTHER types of product lines to add Ambiance to their offerings.
Product line(s) has (or have) to be high end.
